If you haven’t done so already, please look the sheet over and consider what ministries you are interested in learning more about and/or want to become involved in, and mark your interests on the forms. 9:15am Reading of Faith Statements…Join us in the chapel at 9:15am on Sunday as six young people will be Reading Their Faith Statements to the Congregation and taking questions. Then, they will affirm the faith of their baptism during the 10:30 worship service. Be sure to join us for this very special day!
12:00pm Special Congregational Meeting… The Church Council has called a Special Congregational Meeting for THIS Sunday, May 22nd at 12noon for the purpose of considering whether Trinity “will recognize, support, and hold publicly accounting lifelong monogamous, same-gender relationships.” Food and childcare will be provided. All members should have received information about this meeting in the mail recently, including all history and background leading up to this. Any questions about this, please contact Church Council, Discernment Committee, or Pastor Mark.

Cats at Boulder Dinner Theatre…Margie Dugan is organizing a group who are going to see “Cats” at the Boulder Dinner Theatre on Wednesday, June 22nd at 5:30pm. She has reserved 48 tickets for the show that evening. Cost is $40/person which includes dinner, coffee/tea, tax & gratuity. If you are interested in going, you MUST let Margie Dugan know by THIS Sunday, May 22nd at 12noon. You do not need to pay anything now, just tell Margie how many seats you want. Now Taking Day Camp Registrations…We are now taking registrations for youth for Trinity’s Day Camp on June 27-July 1st. Youth must have completed kindergarten-5th grade to register. Registration forms are on Trinity’s website (www.trinityboulder.org) or available in the narthex on Sunday mornings. Cost is $80/child if you register by May 29th, and you’ll get a cool bendy flamingo, too. After May 29th, the cost goes up to $85/child, and a $5 sibling discount is available, too.
Church Picnic on Sunday, June 5th…Mark your calendars now and plan to join us at North Boulder Park at 8th and Dellwood (by Boulder Community Hospital) for our Trinity Church Picnic on Sunday, June 5th. We’ll have worship at 10:30 a.m. and the picnic begins at 11:30 a.m. Drinks, Hot Dogs & Hamburgers provided. Bring chairs, blanket, table service, & a dish to share. There will be games for all ages after lunch, too. Plan to join us!
Casas Registration for July 9-12th…We are continuing to take registrations for our summer Casas Mission Trip, July 9th-12th. We have two houses reserved for our July Casas trip. We will meet in El Paso the evening of Saturday, July 9; cross the border early on Sunday; build Sunday and Monday; bless the families and their new houses Monday afternoon; host a dinner for the families and neighbors of Tierre de Amor Monday evening; and return to the USA Tuesday morning and leave for home. Yellow registration forms are available in the narthex on the heater.

Casas Tomato Plant Sale…Support the Casas por Cristo house building project by purchasing tomato plants on THIS Sunday, May 8th. The ready to set-out plants will be available in the Narthex between services for a donation of 50 cents each. This year there will be more than a dozen varieties. Obtain these plants for yourself, as a gift for a gardening friend, or at 50 cents each, a last minute easily affordable gift for Mother’s Day from the children. The entire donation for the plants goes to Casas por Cristo mission to Mexico!

Casas Registration for July 9-12th…We are now taking registrations for our summer Casas Mission Trip, July 9th-12th. We have two houses reserved for our July Casas trip. We will meet in El Paso the evening of Saturday, July 9; cross the border early on Sunday; build Sunday and Monday; bless the families and their new houses Monday afternoon; host a dinner for the families and neighbors of Tierre de Amor Monday evening; and return to the USA Tuesday morning and leave for home. The ready to set-out plants will be available in the Narthex between services for a donation of 50 cents each. This year there will be more than a dozen varieties. Obtain these plants for yourself, as a gift for a gardening friend, or at 50 cents each, a last minute easily affordable gift for Mother’s Day from the children. The entire donation for the plants goes to Casas por Cristo mission to Mexico!

Now Taking Day Camp Registrations…We are now taking registrations for youth for Trinity’s Day Camp on June 27-July 1st. Youth must have completed kindergarten-5th grade to register. Registration forms are on Trinity’s website (www.trinityboulder.org) or available in the narthex on Sunday mornings. Cost is $80/child if you register by May 29th, and you’ll get a cool bendy flamingo, too. After May 29th, the cost goes up to $85/child, and a $5 sibling discount is available, too.

9:15am and 11:45am Discernment Process: Feedback & Implications....Trinity voted in October 2009 to enter a discernment process to determine whether we as a congregation will "recognize, support, and hold publicly accountable couples who wish to have lifelong, monogamous, same-gender relationships". That discernment process began on Sunday, January 23rd. This week is Feedback & Implications. As are all Discernment Process events, these sessions will be recorded for those who can't join us. The Church Council, however, encourages everyone to take part in this process so that when we get to the point of making a decision, we have walked through the various issues and information together. So please plan to join us at 9:15am or 11:45 am in the Chapel! Childcare will be available for both sessions.

We will have pancakes (Blueberry, Chocolate Chip, and Plain), sausages, and yogurt parfaits. Casas Registration for July 9-12th…We are now taking registrations for our summer Casas Mission Trip, July 9th-12th. We have two houses reserved for our July Casas trip. We will meet in El Paso the evening of Saturday, July 9; cross the border early on Sunday; build Sunday and Monday; bless the families and their new houses Monday afternoon; host a dinner for the families and neighbors of Tierre de Amor Monday evening; and return to the USA Tuesday morning and leave for home. Yellow registration forms are available in the narthex on the heater.

We’ll be decorating the fellowship hall, doing food prep, and practicing serving others. You’ll be finished at 12:30pm. Remember, this is the deadline to bring your Easter Breakfast food items in!
7:30pm Easter Vigil Worship…Join us for the first Easter celebration. We’ll start in the parking lot before processing into the Chapel for a service by candlelight.
THIS Sunday, April 24th is Easter Sunday. Our worship lessons will be Acts 10:34-43; Psalm 118:1-2, 14-24; Colossians 3:1-4 and Matthew 28:1-10. Be sure to join us for our festive celebration of the Resurrection of Our Lord!

Nursery Available….Due to Easter, the Nursery is open and staffed for both the 8am & 10:30am services on Sunday.
6:11am Sunrise Worship…Join us at the first light of the day as we celebrate our Lord’s Resurrection. Look for us at the West End of the Boulder Reservoir, or at the Pavilion if it is inclement weather. We’ll meet at the Boulder Res no matter what the weather.
7:30am-10:15am Easter Breakfast Served by Confirmation Youth…Join us in the fellowship hall at our 6th-8th grade youth serve us Easter Breakfast. We will have pancakes (Blueberry, Chocolate Chip, and Plain), sausages, and yogurt parfaits. The breakfast is a freewill donation and all the funds raised help to send these youth to Confirmation Camp at Rainbow Trail this summer.

Please keep these young people in your prayers as they prepare this week: MacKenzie Murphy; Ben Gasta; Isaac Daumler; Levi Hamernik; Eli Colucci; Conner Dawson. 9:15am Discernment Process: Feedback & Implications....Trinity voted in October 2009 to enter a discernment process to determine whether we as a congregation will "recognize, support, and hold publicly accountable couples who wish to have lifelong, monogamous, same-gender relationships". That discernment process began on Sunday, January 23rd. This week is Feedback & Implications, and will be at both 9:15am & 11:45am in the Chapel. The Church Council encourages everyone to take part in this process so that when we get to the point of making a decision, we have walked through the various issues and information together. So please plan to join us at 9:15am or 11:45am in the Chapel! Childcare will be available during both sessions. 9:15am Sunday School Opening ……THIS Sunday, Sunday School Opening will be in the sanctuary due to the Second Sunday Lunch Meal. 12:00pm Second Sunday Easter Meal…Thank you to all of you who have signed up to provide food or help serve our Second Sunday Easter Meal for the Hungry this week.
