Ethiopian Necklace Mission Group in narthex…THIS Sunday, you will have the opportunity to look over the necklaces, scarves, baskets, earrings, and crosses that are made by women in Ethiopia to help support their families.

9:15am Sunday School Opening in Fellowship Hall…Sunday School resumes this week with opening in the fellowship hall at 9:15am and classes downstairs at 9:30am.

9:15am and 11:45am Discernment Process: Feedback & Implications....Trinity voted in October 2009 to enter a discernment process to determine whether we as a congregation will "recognize, support, and hold publicly accountable couples who wish to have lifelong, monogamous, same-gender relationships". That discernment process began on Sunday, January 23rd. This week is Feedback & Implications. As are all Discernment Process events, these sessions will be recorded for those who can't join us. The Church Council, however, encourages everyone to take part in this process so that when we get to the point of making a decision, we have walked through the various issues and information together. So please plan to join us at 9:15am or 11:45 am in the Chapel! Childcare will be available for both sessions.

5:30pm Tres de Mayo Casas Celebration…Please consider joining us at Casa Alvarez in Boulder (30th & Walnut) as we celebrate 14 years of building houses in Juarez, Mexico through Casas! This is not a fundraiser, but just a chance to celebrate together! There will be an All You Can Eat Taco Buffet and a piñata for the children. Adults $12; Children 4-12 - $6, 3 & under - free. Includes non-alcoholic beverage. We hope you will join us!

Tomato Plants Available: Sunday, May 8th…Support the Casas por Cristo house building project by purchasing tomato plants on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8th. The ready to set-out plants will be available in the Narthex between services for a donation of 50 cents each. This year there will be more than a dozen varieties, and you can get a list of the varieties in advance by emailing Beth Soltis at edgeary@comcast.net. Obtain these plants for yourself, as a gift for a gardening friend, or at 50 cents each, a last minute easily affordable gift for Mother’s Day from the children. The entire donation for the plants goes to Casas por Cristo mission to Mexico!

Casas Registration for July 9-12th…We are now taking registrations for our summer Casas Mission Trip, July 9th-12th. We have two houses reserved for our July Casas trip. We will meet in El Paso the evening of Saturday, July 9; cross the border early on Sunday; build Sunday and Monday; bless the families and their new houses Monday afternoon; host a dinner for the families and neighbors of Tierre de Amor Monday evening; and return to the USA Tuesday morning and leave for home. Yellow registration forms are available in the narthex on the heater.

Church Campout, August 5-7th…Join other Trinity campers for a weekend of fun and fellowship in God’s beautiful outdoors in Leadville, Colorado. We have initially reserved 19 sites. If you would like to reserve one of those spots, please fill out a green Registration Form (in the Narthex), attach your $45.00 reservation fee to the form, and turn it in to the church office (on Melanie's desk) by Sunday, May 15th. Checks can be made payable to Trinity Lutheran, write “Campout” on the memo line.

AFTER Good Friday Worship…After the sanctuary is empty, we will be setting up the church for Easter morning. Plan to stay after and help with this if you can!

THIS Saturday, April 23rd: Holy Saturday
10:00am Easter Breakfast Set-up…All 6th-8th graders are to be at Trinity at 10am to set up for the Easter Breakfast. We’ll be decorating the fellowship hall, doing food prep, and practicing serving others. You’ll be finished at 12:30pm. Remember, this is the deadline to bring your Easter Breakfast food items in!
7:30pm Easter Vigil Worship…Join us for the first Easter celebration. We’ll start in the parking lot before processing into the Chapel for a service by candlelight.

THIS Sunday, April 24th is Easter Sunday. Our worship lessons will be Acts 10:34-43; Psalm 118:1-2, 14-24; Colossians 3:1-4 and Matthew 28:1-10. Be sure to join us for our festive celebration of the Resurrection of Our Lord!

Nursery Available….Due to Easter, the Nursery is open and staffed for both the 8am & 10:30am services on Sunday.

6:11am Sunrise Worship…Join us at the first light of the day as we celebrate our Lord’s Resurrection. Look for us at the West End of the Boulder Reservoir, or at the Pavilion if it is inclement weather. We’ll meet at the Boulder Res no matter what the weather.

7:30am-10:15am Easter Breakfast Served by Confirmation Youth…Join us in the fellowship hall at our 6th-8th grade youth serve us Easter Breakfast. We will have pancakes (Blueberry, Chocolate Chip, and Plain), sausages, and yogurt parfaits. The breakfast is a freewill donation and all the funds raised help to send these youth to Confirmation Camp at Rainbow Trail this summer.

Holy Week Meditations…Holy Week Meditations were included in the bulletin on Sunday which were meant to give you a bible verse, hymn, and question to contemplate daily this week. If you missed taking home your sheet on Sunday or need another one, they are available on the table in the narthex.

Discernment Process Questions…The Discernment Committee invites you to put any questions you might have for the Feedback & Implications session on a sticky note on the easel in the chapel. These questions will be discussed at the next Discernment Process Session, May 1st. Please write your question and include your name on the sticky note. Thanks!

There will be interactive activities, a chance to learn more, and food and fund! 9:15am Discernment Process: Personal Stories....Trinity voted in October 2009 to enter a discernment process to determine whether we as a congregation will "recognize, support, and hold publicly accountable couples who wish to have lifelong, monogamous, same-gender relationships". That discernment process began on Sunday, January 23rd. This week is Personal Stories, and will be at 9:15am ONLY in the sanctuary. The Church Council, however, encourages everyone to take part in this process so that when we get to the point of making a decision, we have walked through the various issues and information together. So please plan to join us at 9:15am in the Sanctuary (notice the different location due to the Ministry Fair)!
