All of the choirs will be participating together in a Community Choir, too, and singing together. This year the service is at Trinity and we’ll have our usual Pie Fellowship Hour immediately afterwards.

Notes
Pies Needed for Thanksgiving Pie Fellowship Hour….Since the Thanksgiving Eve worship service is at Trinity year, we will also be hosting the pie fellowship hour immediately afterwards. We are looking for members to bring pies for this event. Any kind of pie is welcome, and some pumpkin pies will be provided by the Fellowship Committee, too. Just bring your pie on that night, Wed Nov 25th before 7pm. Any questions, contact Rosemary Neville. Thanks!

Holiday Meal on Sunday, December 13th…Trinity is serving lunch to those in need again on December 13th and would like to once again treat our guests to a special holiday meal, just as we did at Easter. As you are buying food and preparing dishes for Thanksgiving, would you please consider purchasing an additional turkey or ham and/or creating an extra of your favorite vegetable dish or dessert for this worthy cause? Anything that can be frozen and saved would be greatly appreciated and we will gladly arrange for freezer space if need be. Also, please save the date and join us that day as we will need plenty of people on hand to cook, serve, and cleanup. Many, many thanks and, as always, if any questions, please call Debi & Roy Burger at 303 517-5402 or email debgarrity@aol.com.

Upcoming Dates
Household Ministry Sponsoring Advent Wreath & Devotion Event, Sunday, November 29th 9:15am… Join Margie Dugan and Becca as they lead the next Household Ministry event on Sunday, November 29th between worship services. During our time together we will talk about the purpose of Advent, the history of Advent wreaths, households will make an Advent wreath to use throughout the season of Advent and everyone will learn how to use an Advent wreath so we can all be equipped as we wait for and prepare for the light of Christmas! Cost for the Advent wreath (includes wreath, candles & cool decorations) is $12 or if you can’t join us, you can get a basic starter kit (wreath & candles only, NO decorations) for $8. Please Note: The word "household" is used to describe anyone in the congregation, from a single person household to a household of many. Also, there is no age limit, and we want this to be an intergenerational event, and there’s no Sunday School or Adult Education that day, so everyone can come! Sign up is on the back of the blue worship card by Sunday, November 22nd. If you are unable to attend this ministry event, but would like to have an Advent wreath kit for your household, please indicate that on the blue worship card as well (instructions will be provided with the kits).

Horizons Meeting for Trinity Leadership Team, Sunday, November 29th 11:45am…All staff, Church Council members, and committee chairs and ministry leaders are reminded to come to the Trinity Horizons Meeting on Sunday, November 29th at 11:45am in the fellowship hall. We’ll have pizza lunch and be discussing what information was gathered in the questionnaires about what are the next steps for Trinity. Please RSVP to the church office your attendance either way so we know how many to plan on for lunch. Thanks!

Tree Cutting & Lights of December Parade, Saturday, December 5th…Make sure your calendar is marked to help out on Saturday, December 5th at Trinity. At 8am, we’ll be meeting to head up into the mountains to cut down our sanctuary Christmas Tree, bring it back to Trinity, and decorate it with lights. We need 25 folks to make this happen, so everyone’s help is appreciated! If you can’t help with the tree cutting, meet us at Trinity at 8:30am to help organize and layout the lights. Then at 12noon we’ll begin building the Float for the Lights of December Parade. At 5pm, the youth will meet at Trinity to costume up to ride on the float, and after the parade, we’ll meet back at Trinity for cookies and hot chocolate. It’s a super fun holiday tradition, so plan to be a part of it!
