Palm Branches Due at Trinity…If you have your palm branches left from last year’s Palm Sunday, please bring them to worship this Sunday and place them in the basket in the center aisle of the sanctuary so they can be burned into ashes to use for Ash Wednesday worship. Thanks!

9:15am Thrivent Choice Help…Thrivent members can direct their 2010 Thrivent Choice dollars until March 31, 2011. Thrivent Choice is the program that lets eligible Thrivent benefit members personally help direct a portion of Thrivent Financial’s charitable funds to thousands of Lutheran congregations and organizaitons. Deidre Farrell will be available in the narthex on THIS Sunday, March 6th, and again on Sunday, March 13th, for anyone who has questions or needs help completing their designation.

9:15am and 11:45am Discernment Process: Bible Study 2....Trinity voted in October 2009 to enter a discernment process to determine whether we as a congregation will "recognize, support, and hold publicly accountable couples who wish to have lifelong, monogamous, same-gender relationships". That discernment process began on Sunday, January 23rd. This week is Bible Study 2, Love & Sin. As are all Discernment Process events, these sessions will be recorded for those who can't join us. The Church Council, however, encourages everyone to take part in this process so that when we get to the point of making a decision, we have walked through the various issues and information together. So please plan to join us at 9:15am or 11:45 am in the Chapel! Childcare will be available for both sessions.

Notes
Piano For Sale…To address issues of limited space in the Sanctuary choir loft, the Worship Committee and the Church Council have approved a plan to sell the Samick grand piano currently in the Sanctuary and move the Baldwin piano that is downstairs back up to the Sanctuary. If you or someone you know is interested in purchasing the grand piano (buyer to move), please contact Valerie Hess soon as some others have expressed interest. Thanks!

Church Campout, August 5-7th…Join other Trinity campers for a weekend of fun and fellowship in God’s beautiful outdoors in Leadville, Colorado. We have initially reserved 19 sites. If you would like to reserve one of those spots, please fill out a green Registration Form (in the Narthex), attach your $45.00 reservation fee to the form, and turn it in to the church office (on Melanie's desk) by Sunday, May 15th. Checks can be made payable to Trinity Lutheran, write “Campout” on the memo line.

Reminder: Discernment CD’s Available…If you have missed a Discernment session, remember that CD’s and corresponding handouts/presentations are available in the box in front of the stained glass window in the narthex. Also, if you got a CD for the February 6th session on Church History 2, the content on the CD was all on there but the tracks were not in the correct order. Feel free to toss that CD and pick up a corrected CD (with tracks in the correct order) next time you are at Trinity.

Reminder: Pick up Picture Directories...Those who had their pictures taken or submitted a picture, please be sure to pick up the new Trinity Picture Directory, found on the table in the narthex in front of the stained glass window. If you didn't get your picture taken but would still like a copy of the directory, please sign up on the clipboard in the narthex next to the directories box. And for those of you who signed up, your directory is now in the box. Thanks!
