Haiti Relief Donations…There are still several ways you can make donations to help the relief efforts in Haiti. And if you are a Thrivent member, Thrivent is matching donations members make to ELCA Disaster Response or Lutheran World Relief. Donations can be made in the following ways:
Direct to ELCA disaster relief at www.elca.org/disaster or 800-638-3522
Direct to Lutheran World Relief by texting “LWR” to 40579. This makes a $10 donation that appears on your cell phone bill.
Through Thrivent at Thrivent.com/helpinghaiti or 1-800-236-2736. (You MUST do it this way to get the Thrivent match if you are a member) When prompted after calling, please say "directory" then enter ext. 83003. (donation can be made to LWR or ELCA Disaster Response this way and will include the match)
By writing a check to Trinity with “Haiti” in the memo. We’ll compile these donations and send them in. Thanks!
