Sunday Notes
9:00am & 11:45am Thrivent Choice Information Session
…Thrivent members should have received in the mail this week information about how to designate your Thrivent Choice dollars to a Lutheran-based organization or church of your choice. We have received some questions about this process, and so we are offering Information Sessions this Sunday, September 5th to help explain your options. If you have your letter from Thrivent, please bring it to this session. If not, do not worry, you can still access your information. Also, if you can’t make it this Sunday, we will have more information sessions coming soon. THIS Sunday, join us immediately after the 8am & 10:30am worship services in the conference room for a brief meeting. Thanks!

9:15am Sunday School Opening & 9:30am Sunday School Classes…Remember, Sunday School classes continue this week with Opening in the Sanctuary at 9:15am and classes at 9:30am.

9:30am Adult Education Class: Making Sense of Scripture…Using Dr. David Lose's book, Making Sense of Scripture, you are invited to engage in a conversation that might happen around a kitchen table about seven major questions of the Bible. This study invites you to bring your questions or doubts to the table when reading Scripture. Also, books for this class are now available. Plan to pick your’s up on THIS Sunday, September 5th and make payment at that time if still necessary. Thanks!

Monday, September 6th
Church Office Closed for Labor Day
9:30am LOFT to Waterworld…Since LOFT was rained out from going to Waterworld earlier this summer, we are going again THIS Monday on Labor Day. Meet Becca at Trinity at 9:30am with your swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, lunch, and $30. Youth will return to Trinity at 5pm on Monday. 12:00pm Prayers for Peace in Chapel…yes, they are meeting even though its Labor Day.

Tuesday, September 7th
7:00pm Property Committee Meeting

Notes
Leftover Light Fixtures, Bulbs, Janitor Supplies at Trinity…We have spent this summer at Trinity doing some cleaning out and upgrading of light fixtures to more energy efficient models. We have some can lights available from the sanctuary, and their bulbs, plus some extra Janitorial supplies from Bill’s closet (including plungers, dustmops, etc). If you are interested in any of items, please contact Bill Rhode at 303-530-0415 or see him on Sunday morning to see what we have left. Items left after this weekend will be donated or tossed. Thanks!
