Each household (from one to many...no age limit) will make a Chrismon for Trinity’s tree and one for their tree at home. The word “Chrismon” comes from the words “Christ” and “monogram”. Notes
**2011 Faith Commitment Card [Pledge Card] Correction**…We are sorry for the confusion but there is a misprint on the 2011 Faith Commitment Card. On the Benevolence Allocation side of the card "Social Ministry" appears twice, each for $1000. The second "Social Ministry" entry should be "Lutheran Family Services." Information on Lutheran Family Services is listed in the Benevolence Workbook along with the other Council Recommended Benevolences. Sorry again for the confusion. ---Stewardship Committee
Don’t forget to return your completed Faith Commitment Card to Trinity by Sunday, December 5th so we can bless them during worship.

Upcoming Events
Advent BreathersWednesdays in Advent: Dec 1, 8, 15, 22; 7 - 7:30 pm in Sanctuary; Leader: Valerie Hess…Come to the Sanctuary Wednesday nights during Advent for a time of refreshment and reflection. Using song and Scripture, we will have a time of worship and reflection on the themes of Advent. The times where we are the most busy are the times we need most to stop and find refreshment in prayer, song, and the Word of God. Advent Breathers begin NEXT Wednesday, December 1st
Christmas Tree Cutting & Decorating: Saturday, December 4th at 8am… The tree has been selected. The date has been picked. Now all we need are volunteers to go with us to bring it to church and set it up in the sanctuary. Our thanks to Jean Ann Griffith and the family of Alma Scohy who have once again generously donated a beautiful tree for our sanctuary. We need some people to help cut it down, load it on the truck, bring it in the sanctuary, set it up and then decorate it. Tree day is NEXT Saturday, December 4 at 8:00 a.m. We will meet in the church parking lot, and leave from there. If you aren't able to help cut down the tree you can still come to church at 8:30 am and help Jacque Johnson get the lights and other decorations ready. You may direct any questions to Bill Rhode or Jacque Johnson.
Common Prayer Party: Saturday, December 4 at 4:00 pm; Leaders: Casey Burnett & Emily Barnak…Come gather and pray in community. Trinity was selected to host a book release party Saturday, December 4. Gathering at 4:00 pm with light refreshments, we will then transition via silence into exploring the new book's resources to guide our prayers. Following our time of prayer, we will transition to a time of casual discussion about prayer discipline before ending about 5:30pm. To RSVP and enter a drawing to win a free copy visit this link "tinyurl.com/commonprayer". To learn more about the book visit here (commonprayer.net). Send questions or RSVP to Casey Burnett (419) 345-2407.
Lights of December Parade: Saturday, December 4th… We will start float construction at 12 noon on December 4th in the church parking lot. We need the help of volunteers to put the float together. If you have a staple gun, pliers, and clippers please bring any along. The parade starts at 6:00 p.m. Those young people who would like to ride the float as characters from the first Christmas story need to be to church by 5:00 p.m. for costuming. Fellowship Committee is providing hot chocolate and cookies in the narthex after the parade. Please be sure to join us!

Notes
All Saints Faces… This year we want to surround ourselves with those who have joined the Church Triumphant and are the "cloud of witness" of Hebrews 12. So we invite you to bring to church a picture of your loved one as we make a display of the "cloud of witness" on the side walls of the sanctuary. Please bring those pictures THIS week or on THIS Sunday, November 7th, All Saints Sunday. A couple of things will be helpful as we create this display:
1. pictures only, no frames
2. for safety sake, you may want to bring in a copy of the original
3. write your name on the back of the picture
4. pictures will remain up until after worship on November 21st
5. each person will be responsible for adding and removing their own picture [tape will be available for you to place your loved one's picture on the display]
We invite and encourage you to be a part of this year's celebration of All Saints.
Annual Meeting Update…If you missed the Annual Meeting on Sunday, October 31st, materials from then are available on the table in the church office to pick up.
Leftover Halloween Candy…If you have some leftover Halloween candy, the church’s candy dish would be happy to take it. Please turn it into Melanie in the church office.
CU Football Parking Help Needed…We still have 2 more home football games for CU that we need to park cars for in the Basemar Shopping Center, Saturdays November 13th & 20th. Since the 13th is the Women’s Retreat and the 20th is Casas Weekend & Senior High Youth Gathering, we are especially in need of helpers! Parking on November 13th will be from 8:30am-12:30pm. If you can help park cars for 4 hours on either of these dates, please contact Becca at trinityboulderyouth@hotmail.com
Gifts for Casas Families…There are tags on the tri-fold bulletin board in the narthex of household items we would like to gift our Casas Families with on the upcoming mission trip. If you can supply any of these items, please take the tag with you next time you are at Trinity and return the gifts by Sunday, November 14th. Your generous support of this ministry is greatly appreciated!
Casas Registration Continues…We are continuing to take registrations for this fall’s Casas Mission Trip, November 20-23rd. We will be building two houses in Juarez, Mexico. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please speak to Rudy Deutschmann, Lynn Twietmeyer, or Pastor Mark. Yellow registration forms are in the narthex on the heater.
