Sunday Notes
Gifts for Casas Families Due…Thank you to everyone who took a tag off the tri-fold bulletin board to purchase a gift for the Casas Families we are building for. Please make sure those gifts are returned to Trinity by THIS Sunday, November 14th so they can be packed into the church trailer for the trip to Juarez, Mexico.
Blood Pressure Screenings…As a part of the Flu Shot Clinic, Pat will be in the Chapel checking blood pressures for anyone who would like that checked. Look for her in the Chapel starting at 9:00am.
9:00-10:30am Flu Shot Clinic…Trinity is offering a Flu Shot Clinic THIS Sunday, November 14th in the Chapel from 9am-10:30am. If you would still like to get a Flu Shot ($25), Flu Mist ($35), or Pneumonia Shot ($50) and did not sign up, please contact the church office by THIS Friday, November 12th so we can make sure we have enough flu vaccine on hand.
9:30am Adult Education: Discussion on Faith & Science, “Tending God’s Garden: Science, Faith, and the Environment”… THIS Sunday, led by Jim White, Trinity member and professor at CU, we will look at our relationship with the environment, and how that has changed in recent times as human numbers, and needs for resources, have grown. How does faith inform science and science inform faith? Are we being good stewards of God’s creation? Join us at 9:30am in the Fellowship Hall for this discussion.
12:00pm Second Sunday Lunch for Hungry…THIS Sunday, Trinity is once again serving a hot lunch to those in need. We have a few folks signed up to help serve, but we really need another 3 or 4 more. If you can help with this very important ministry, please sign up in the narthex or contact the church office. Meet in the fellowship hall at 12noon and you’ll be finished by 2pm.
5:00pm ENNNR’s (Empty Nesters, Nearly or Newly Retired)…THIS Sunday, ENNNR’s will be gathering at the home of Karen Louis at 2460 Balsam Dr in Boulder, 5-7pm. Everyone is asked to bring an appetizer and a beverage of their choice. We’ll be sharing our narrative stories. Questions, contact Margie Dugan at 303-449-5089.

Notes
All Saints Faces… If you missed bringing in your picture of a loved one who has passed on to the Church Triumphant, you can still do so. Our All Saints “Faces” will be up on the sanctuary walls through worship on Sunday, November 21st to remind us of the “Cloud of Witnesses” who are worshipping and communing with us every time we gather together to worship and praise God.
Look for Stewardship Packets to Arrive…This week, Trinity mailed out Stewardship Packets to Trinity Members. Please be on the lookout for your’s to arrive soon in your mailbox.
Leftover Halloween Candy…If you have some leftover Halloween candy, the church’s candy dish would be happy to take it. Please turn it into Melanie in the church office.
Family Ministry Event: Making Chrismons…On Sunday, November 28th, the first Sunday in Advent, Margie Dugan and Becca will be leading a Household Ministry Event between the services. Come help prepare Trinity and your own home for Advent as each household (from one to many...no age limit) will make a Chrismon for Trinity’s tree and one for their tree at home. The word “Chrismon” comes from the words “Christ” and “monogram”. Chrismons are symbols of faith and, like ornaments, are placed on Christmas trees to remind us that Jesus is our cause for celebration at Christmas. Cost is two Chrismons (one for Trinity and one for your home) for $10. Please sign up with Becca so supplies can be prepared. Questions? Ask Margie Dugan or Becca.
