Sunday Notes
9:15am Retiring with Confidence: Non-Financial Aspects…THIS Sunday, November 7th, Second Century Fund is bringing to Trinity Bob Atchley. He will be sharing a self-assessment tool to use to prepare for retirement. Refreshments will be provided by Covenant Village. Look for all this to take place starting at 9:15am in the Chapel. Please note the earlier start time of 9:15am!
9:30am Adult Education: 3 Week Discussion on Faith & Science… THIS Sunday: “What
Does/Should ‘Science’ Have to Do with My Faith?” Allan Mord will lead a discussion of this question focusing on (1) what important issues might current science tell us about, and (2) how can/should this new information shape my actions as a Christian. This is, in part, a warm-up for the following two weeks when our Jim White and Nikki Lovenduski will talk about their own work on climate change and how that might interact with our duties as Christians. Join us at 9:30am in the Fellowship Hall for this discussion.
12:00pm Stewardship Workshop for Youth…All Middle Schoolers & High Schoolers, and their parents, plan to stay after the 10:30am worship service for lunch (provided) and a time to talk about money! Thrivent Financial will be leading us in a workshop about how we talk about money management as a family and how to help teens understand the relationship between values, money, and stewardship. We’ll be finished by 2pm.

Notes
All Saints Faces… This year we want to surround ourselves with those who have joined the Church Triumphant and are the "cloud of witness" of Hebrews 12. So we invite you to bring to church a picture of your loved one as we make a display of the "cloud of witness" on the side walls of the sanctuary. Please bring those pictures THIS week or on THIS Sunday, November 7th, All Saints Sunday. A couple of things will be helpful as we create this display:
1. pictures only, no frames
2. for safety sake, you may want to bring in a copy of the original
3. write your name on the back of the picture
4. pictures will remain up until after worship on November 21st
5. each person will be responsible for adding and removing their own picture [tape will be available for you to place your loved one's picture on the display]
We invite and encourage you to be a part of this year's celebration of All Saints.
Annual Meeting Update…If you missed the Annual Meeting on Sunday, October 31st, materials from then are available on the table in the church office to pick up.
Leftover Halloween Candy…If you have some leftover Halloween candy, the church’s candy dish would be happy to take it. Please turn it into Melanie in the church office.
CU Football Parking Help Needed…We still have 2 more home football games for CU that we need to park cars for in the Basemar Shopping Center, Saturdays November 13th & 20th. Since the 13th is the Women’s Retreat and the 20th is Casas Weekend & Senior High Youth Gathering, we are especially in need of helpers! Parking on November 13th will be from 8:30am-12:30pm. If you can help park cars for 4 hours on either of these dates, please contact Becca at trinityboulderyouth@hotmail.com
Gifts for Casas Families…There are tags on the tri-fold bulletin board in the narthex of household items we would like to gift our Casas Families with on the upcoming mission trip. If you can supply any of these items, please take the tag with you next time you are at Trinity and return the gifts by Sunday, November 14th. Your generous support of this ministry is greatly appreciated!
Casas Registration Continues…We are continuing to take registrations for this fall’s Casas Mission Trip, November 20-23rd. We will be building two houses in Juarez, Mexico. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please speak to Rudy Deutschmann, Lynn Twietmeyer, or Pastor Mark. Yellow registration forms are in the narthex on the heater.
