Holiday Meal on Sunday, December 13th…Trinity is serving lunch to those in need again on December 13th and would like to once again treat our guests to a special holiday meal, just as we did at Easter. As you are buying food and preparing dishes for Thanksgiving, would you please consider purchasing an additional turkey or ham and/or creating an extra of your favorite vegetable dish or dessert for this worthy cause? Anything that can be frozen and saved would be greatly appreciated and we will gladly arrange for freezer space if need be. Also, please save the date and join us that day as we will need plenty of people on hand to cook, serve, and cleanup. Many, many thanks and, as always, if any questions, please call Debi & Roy Burger at 303 517-5402 or email debgarrity@aol.com.

Upcoming Dates
Household Ministry Sponsoring Advent Wreath & Devotion Event, Sunday, November 29th 9:15am… Join Margie Dugan and Becca as they lead the next Household Ministry event on Sunday, November 29th between worship services. During our time together we will talk about the purpose of Advent, the history of Advent wreaths, households will make an Advent wreath to use throughout the season of Advent and everyone will learn how to use an Advent wreath so we can all be equipped as we wait for and prepare for the light of Christmas! Cost for the Advent wreath (includes wreath, candles & cool decorations) is $12 or if you can’t join us, you can get a basic starter kit (wreath & candles only, NO decorations) for $8. Please Note: The word "household" is used to describe anyone in the congregation, from a single person household to a household of many. Also, there is no age limit, and we want this to be an intergenerational event, and there’s no Sunday School or Adult Education that day, so everyone can come! Sign up is on the back of the blue worship card by Sunday, November 22nd. If you are unable to attend this ministry event, but would like to have an Advent wreath kit for your household, please indicate that on the blue worship card as well (instructions will be provided with the kits).

At 8am, we’ll be meeting to head up into the mountains to cut down our sanctuary Christmas Tree, bring it back to Trinity, and decorate it with lights. We need 25 folks to make this happen, so everyone’s help is appreciated! If you can’t help with the tree cutting, meet us at Trinity at 8:30am to help organize and layout the lights. Then at 12noon we’ll begin building the Float for the Lights of December Parade. At 5pm, the youth will meet at Trinity to costume up to ride on the float, and after the parade, we’ll meet back at Trinity for cookies and hot chocolate. Look for the green sheets & box in the narthex to write down your questions.

Proof Directory...A new Trinity directory of names and contact information is out on the table in the narthex. Please look over your listing and mark any changes or that it is ok. Thanks!

Outbound Toolbelts...Its the time of the year for Outbound Toolbelts again. The Missions Ministry plans to offer Trinity members household and yard assistance during late October through November. Similar to last year, we will be looking for folks who need, or can supply, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, repairs, gutter cleaning, window cleaning and yard clean-up. Forms are in the narthex. To request help, fill out a GREEN form; to volunteer to provide labor, fill out a YELLOW form. Return forms by Sunday, Oct. 18th. Questions, contact Jim Grady at 303-250-4574.

CU Parking Saturday, October 17th...We have found out the time for the parking fundraiser for the CU Football game is 2-6pm. Also, we could use a few more volunteers to help park cars during that time. If you can help, contact Becca, Youth Director, ASAP. Thanks!
