TODAY, Wednesday, June 30th
Day Camp Continues…Day Camp at Trinity is continuing along very well. We have 51 campers and 24 PUNKS (middle school & high school leaders), 5 counselors, and 10 adult leaders, and they are having a great time!! Camp continues 9am-3pm daily through Friday. Please continue to keep all of them in your prayers and plan to join us on Thursday night at 7pm for Day Camp Worship

9:15am Faith ‘n Issues Group at Page Two in Gunbarrel
7:00pm Day Camp Worship-The entire congregation is invited to join us on Thursday evening at 7pm in the sanctuary as the Day Camp campers, PUNKS, and counselors lead us in worship and show us what they have learned this week. The worship will be followed by a Rootbeer Float Social out on the lawn at Trinity. Plan to join us for this fun, fun event!

THIS Sunday, July 4th is Sixth Sunday after Pentecost. Our worship lessons will be Isaiah 66:10-14; Psalm 66:1-9; Galatians 6: (1-6)7-16 and Luke 10:1:11, 16-20.

Casas Trip Registrations Still Available…We have 2 homes reserved to build on the Casas Mission Trip July 10-13th. We currently have 23 people registered and we could use 4 or 5 more folks to go and help build. If you are available to go this summer’s trip, please speak to Pastor Mark.

Casas Household Items Needed…Thank you to all who have taken tags off the tri-fold bulletin board in the narthex. Those items need to be returned to Trinity by NEXT Wednesday, July 7th, to be packed in the trailer, as they are gifts we leave for the families we are building for. Any questions about this, contact Lynn Twietmeyer.

Second Sunday Lunch for Hungry on Sunday, July 11th…Trinity is serving a meal to those in need on Sunday, July 11th. However, that is also Casas weekend and we currently have no volunteers signed up to help serve. If you are able to help with this very important ministry from 12noon-2pm on Sunday, July 11th, please sign-up on the bulletin board in the narthex or reply to this email. Thanks!

5:00pm LOFT Campout…At 5pm on THIS Friday, June 25th, the LOFT youth will be meeting at Trinity to get into the van and head over the Mohler house in Broomfield for a campout in their backyard. Bring a side dish and dessert to share (meat and drinks provided for dinner). Also bring your sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, movies, and clothes. We’ll be back at Trinity at 11:30am on Saturday morning for parent pick-up. Questions, contact Becca.

9:15am LOFT Share about Puerto Rico Trip…On Sunday morning, the LOFT Youth will be sharing about their recent mission trip to Puerto Rico at 9:15am in the Chapel (yes, this is still happening with Pastor Mark’s celebration). Grab a cup of coffee in the narthex and then join us in the Chapel for their presentation of pictures and talking about their trip.

12:30pm Pastor Laurel’s Open House & Reception….Pastor Laurel Alexander, Campus Ministry Pastor at CU, Boulder, and Trinity member has taken a call to St. Phillip’s Lutheran in Carmel, California. She is doing an Open House & Reception for the entire conference on THIS Sunday, June 27th at 12:30pm at Trinity. All of Trinity is invited to attend this celebration.

Monday, June 28th-Friday, July 2nd
Day Camp at Trinity…Next week, Mon-Fri, 9am-3pm, Trinity will be full of 50 - 1st-6th graders, 25 Middle Schoolers and high schoolers, and 15 adult leaders (including 4 from Rainbow Trail) leading Day Camp at Trinity. This year’s theme is Loved to Serve, Serve to Love. Due to this event happening at Trinity, parking will be extremely limited during the week, daytime hours. Also, please keep everyone involved in this in your prayers for safe, fun, and spirit-filled time!

5:30pm Christ’s Crew M&M Events Continue…All those going into 6th-8th grade, join us on Monday evenings in the summer for our M&M (Mondays & Memories) events at 5:30pm. THIS Monday, we’ll meet at church and head over to Eben G. Fine Park to BBQ out, play in the creek, and play ultimate Frisbee, all with the Rainbow Trail Day Camp counselors! Update from Puerto Mission Trip…Becca has been texting me each day. Sunday they arrived safe and sound. On Monday, it was rainy, but the spent much the day doing some painting of a home, and Tuesday they began working with kids at a Lutheran Camp and visited the beach where they drank out of a fresh coconut. As a reminder, there are 13 High School Youth, Becca, and 2 Rainbow Trail Counselors on this trip. They return late on Saturday evening. Please continue to keep them in your prayers for a safe trip.

Update from Navajo Mission Trip…Pastor Mark called the church office on Tuesday morning saying that things were going well at the Mission Trip to Rock Pointe, AZ. All 5 youth and 11 adults got down there safely and everyone was having a good time. Wednesday night (tonight) is their cultural night and then most will be heading home on Thursday. Continue to keep them in your prayers for a safe trip.

4:30am LOFT Youth Meet to Leave for Puerto Rico Mission Trip…THIS Sunday at 4:30am (that is not a misprint!), 13 High School youth, Becca, and 2 Rainbow Trail Counselors will be leaving to head to the airport to fly to Puerto Rico to lead a Day Camp at a Lutheran Church in Puerto Rico for the week. They will be gone Sunday thru Saturday, June 13th-19th. Please keep everyone in your prayers for a safe trip and great experience.

8:00am Worship in Chapel… THIS Sunday, June 13th, we will have our “usual” 8am worship in the Chapel. Look for us there.

NO Summer Fellowship Hour…Due to the Church Picnic, there will be NO Summer Fellowship Hour THIS Sunday, June 13th.

10:30am Worship & 11:30am Church Picnic…Trinity’s 10:30am worship service will be at North Boulder Park (7th & Dellwood, park behind hospital, just north of Trinity). We’ll worship together and then have a potluck lunch. Everyone is asked to bring a dish to share and their own tableware. Items to grill and drinks will be provided. Plan to bring a lawn chair, too. See you there!

11:30am Second Sunday Lunch for Hungry… If you are not going to attend the Church Picnic, please consider coming to Trinity at THIS Sunday, June 13th to help us serve our Second Sunday Lunch to the Hungry. 5:30am Youth Meet to Leave for Navajo Mission Trip…THIS Sunday at 5:30am (that is not a misprint!), 5 Confirmation-aged youth, Becca, and Pastor Mark will be leaving to head to the Navajo ELCA Mission in Rock Pointe, AZ to work with the families there thru Thursday, June 10th. They will be joined in Arizona by 10 adults from Trinity to assist the families with home repair work. In addition, Trinity will be hosting a community night for the families on the reservation, including some first aid training, and the residents in return are hosting a cultural night for the folks from Trinity on Wednesday evening. Please keep everyone in your prayers for a safe trip and drive, and a spirit-filled time.

8:00am Worship in Chapel…Continuing THIS Sunday, June 6th, through Labor Day weekend (or until we outgrow the space), the 8:00am worship services will be held in the Chapel. Look for us there.

9:00am Summer Fellowship Hour…This Sunday is the first of our Summer Fellowship Hours. This week’s goodies are provided by Helen Aumiller. Join us for this time of fellowship together!
