A mission Outpost in a Troubled World

Update from Puerto Mission Trip…Becca has been texting me each day. Sunday they arrived safe and sound. On Monday, it was rainy, but the spent much the day doing some painting of a home, and Tuesday they began working with kids at a Lutheran Camp and visited the beach where they drank out of a fresh coconut. As a reminder, there are 13 High School Youth, Becca, and 2 Rainbow Trail Counselors on this trip. They return late on Saturday evening. Please continue to keep them in your prayers for a safe trip.

9:00am Summer Fellowship Hour…The Men’s Breakfast Group will be making quiches for us for our Summer Fellowship Hour. Join us!

5:30pm Christ’s Crew M&M Events Begin…All those going into 6th-8th grade, join us on Monday evenings in the summer for our M&M (Mondays & Memories) events at 5:30pm. THIS Monday, we’ll meet at church and do dinner together, then play games (including a water balloon toss if the weather is nice!). Your friends are welcome! Helen Hansen’s Birthday Celebration…The family of Helen Hansen (longtime member of Trinity) invites everyone at Trinity to a celebration of her 90th birthday on Saturday, June 26th, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The party will be held at the Odd Fellows Lodge, 1543 Pearl Street. Open House Reception for Pastor Laurel Alexander…Everyone at Trinity is invited to Open House to wish Pastor Laurel well as she moves to California. The event is Sunday, June 27th
12:30-3:00pm at Trinity. (Light Lunch Provided). Come Celebrate 14 years of Campus Ministry at CU-Boulder as she takes a call to St. Phillips Lutheran Church in Carmel Valley, CA.

Day Camp Snacks & Counselor Meals Needed… If you wish to provide snacks for Rainbow Trail Day Camp, June 28th-July 2nd, check out the sign-up sheets on the tri-fold bulletin board in the narthex for items they need. Q’s, contact Deidre Farrell at 303-440-8994. Also, we are in need of meals for the Day Camp counselors: dinner on Tuesday or Wednesday and lunches for 4 each day.
