THIS Friday, February 19th
4:00pm LOFT Leave for Ski Retreat…The LOFT youth will be heading to the mountains this weekend for their annual Ski Retreat of fellowship, fun, skiing, and snowtubing together. Youth will return on Sunday at 3pm. Please keep them (and the adult leaders) in your prayers for a safe and fun time together!

THIS Sunday, February 21st is the First Sunday in Lent. Our worship lessons will be Deuteronomy 26:1-11; Psalm 91:1-2; 9-16; Romans 10:8b-13 and Luke 4:1-13. Be sure to join us!

12:00pm New Member Class…Trinity will hold a new members class beginning THIS Sunday, February 21st, upstairs in the Conference Room at 12noon. Childcare and lunch will be provided, you’ll be done by 1pm. If you are interested in becoming a member of Trinity or just learning more about Trinity, please speak to Pastor Mark or RSVP to the church office. Thanks!

Notes
Church History as the Work of the Holy Spirit Bible Study…Please note that starting THIS week, the Wednesday night bible study will be moving to Thursday nights at 6pm until we complete the class. The Thursday morning class at 8:30am will continue as scheduled.

ENNNR’s Going to Boulder Dinner Theatre to see “Chicago”… On Sunday, March 21st, at 6:30 p.m., the ENNNRs will be going to the Boulder Dinner Theater to see Chicago. Margie Dugan has reserved 36 seats at $40 per person. This event is open to everyone at Trinity, but if you are interested in going, you must contact Margie by THIS Sunday, Feb. 21st.

30 Hour Planned Famine…The Confirmation Youth will once again take part in the 30 Hour Planned Famine on February 26th and 27th. The purpose of the Planned Famine includes learning about the causes and effects of hunger, experiencing hunger first hand, participating in a service project, helping to fight hunger, worship, fellowship and fun. The youth have decided to support ELCA Disaster Response for Haiti Relief efforts and the Malaria Initiative, working to end this preventable disease. Continuing THIS Sunday, please look for the youth participating in the 30 Hour Planned Famine to be out in the narthex asking for your donations to bring awareness and help to hunger issues all over the world. They will be wearing large green nametags to help you identify them. Thanks!

Early Communion Class…If you believe your child is ready to be a full participant at the communion table and are interested in an early communion class, please speak with Pastor Mark or let the church office know. We are trying to gather info on who is interested before picking a date for the class. Thanks!

Lenten Devotionals Available….The Education Committees has provided Lenten Devotionals for Youth and Adults. Look for them on the table in front of the stained glass window. Thanks!

Stations of the Cross…Stations of the Cross are up in the Chapel and will remain up during Lent. There is a sheet to guide you through them, and note the order is right to left. Please use them as you wish for times of meditation and prayer during Lent.

Edith Sayers Memorial Service…Trinity member, Edith Sayers, passed away last week at Boulder Manor. A memorial service will be scheduled at a future date to be announced.

Valerie Hess’ Holy Land Tour…Trinity’s own Valerie Hess will be leading a tour to Jordan and Israel in February 2011. Brochures about the tour are on the organ console in the sanctuary or in the church office. Questions, please speak to Valerie.
