The Souper Bowl of Caring…This national event, held every year on the same Sunday as the NFL's Super Bowl, is led by youth who collect money or canned food to support local, national and international anti-hunger efforts. Trinity’s high school youth will again be collecting food and non-food items for Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) after the 8 am and 10:30 am services on Sunday, February 7th. They will be collecting shampoo, peanut butter, pasta, lemonade mix, canned chili, and breakfast cereal.

Ushers Needed for 10:30am Worship…We are looking for one additional usher to join the 10:30am worship usher team for the 4th Sunday of the month and another for the 2nd Sunday of the month. If you are interested in helping out with this very important ministry, please speak to Steve Smith, head usher or Melanie in the church office. Thanks!

Haiti Relief Donations…If you haven’t heard, there are several ways you can make donations to help the relief efforts in Haiti. And if you are a Thrivent member, Thrivent is matching donations members make to ELCA Disaster Response or Lutheran World Relief. Donations can be made in the following ways:
Direct to ELCA disaster relief at www.elca.org/disaster or 800-638-3522
Direct to Lutheran World Relief by texting “LWR” to 40579. This makes a $10 donation that appears on your cell phone bill.
Through Thrivent at Thrivent.com/helpinghaiti or 1-800-236-2736. (You MUST do it this way to get the Thrivent match if you are a member) When prompted after calling, please say "directory" then enter ext. 83003. (donation can be made to LWR or ELCA Disaster Response this way and will include the match)
By writing a check to Trinity with “Haiti” in the memo. We’ll compile these donations and send them in. Thanks!
