Update on Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp…
Thank you for your prayers regarding the fire near Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp!! As of this morning, June 22nd, the fire is 80% contained and they are going to let Rainbow Trail counselors back into camp this weekend on Saturday!

In addition, they are calling for a Workday to Clean Up after the Fire on THIS Saturday, June 25th. Time is still being determined, but they will need people with chainsaws to bring them. They are planning on cleaning out cabins, washing curtains, etc. If you can help, please email Dave Jarvis directly at dave@rainbowtrail.org and he will send you specifics once the time for the workday is settled.

9:00am-3:00pm Day Camp at Trinity…Starting on Monday, June 27th-Friday, July 1st, Trinity will be hosting its Day Camp at Trinity. This means there will be 75 youth, plus adult leaders at Trinity. This means there will be no extra parking in the lot besides what is already planned for scheduled events. Also, realize if you need to stop by, it will be a little crazy! Please keep all the counselors, adult leaders, and campers in your prayers for a safe and fun time.

Notes
Day Camp Counselor Meal Needed…We need one more family to host the Day Camp counselors for dinner on Thursday June 30th. It is a busy evening and the counselors need to be back at 6:30pm to church for the evening service so an alternative is to have one (or more) families sponsor the counselors to get a quick dinner out on Pearl Street. If you can help us out either way it would be greatly appreciated. Please call Shelly Jones at 303-786-8431.

Pianist Needed…If you yourself, or you know someone who can play a few hymns on the piano, Pastor Gene needs your help with the Holy Communion Service held at Golden West in Boulder on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Your assistance would be needed 10:30-11:30am to play a few hymns as a part of the service. If you are interested or you know someone who is, please contact Pastor Gene at 720-494-2587.

Trinity Lutheran on Facebook…Are you on Facebook? Did you know Trinity is, too? Check out the pictures we posted of Sunday, June 5th’s Church Picnic on our Facebook Page. While you’re there, make sure you “Like” the photos and be sure you are connected to Trinity so you get all our updates and postings of pictures from events. http://www.facebook.com/TrinityLutheran

Casas Registration for July 9-12th…We are continuing to take registrations for our summer Casas Mission Trip, July 9th-12th. We have two houses reserved for our July Casas trip. We will meet in El Paso the evening of Saturday, July 9; cross the border early on Sunday; build Sunday and Monday; bless the families and their new houses Monday afternoon; host a dinner for the families and neighbors of Tierre de Amor Monday evening; and return to the USA Tuesday morning and leave for home. Yellow registration forms are available in the narthex on the heater.
