Lily Order Deadline… THIS Sunday is the deadline to order your lilies for Easter to help decorate the church for Easter Sunday. If you would like to order one, fill out the back of the blue worship card in the bulletin on THIS Sunday. Cost is $9.50 a lily.

Sign Up Continues for Church Picture Directory…Trinity is doing a new Picture Directory with Olan Mills. Pictures will be taken the week of April 19th. Also, since we have had so many folks sign up, we are adding more pictures dates: Tuesday, April 13th & Wednesday, April 14th! Sign up for photo taking slots THIS Sunday and continues until Sunday, April 11th. Look for the table in the narthex or the page in the bulletin for more information.

9:15am NO Sunday School & Adult Education begins…Parents of youth in Sunday School, please note that there is NO Sunday School THIS Sunday due to Spring Break. Adults, due to the Palm Sunday Processional, Adult Education will begin at 9:15am in the Chapel and end at 9:45am.

10:00am Palm Sunday Processional...Be sure to come early or plan to stay late so you can participate in the Palm Sunday Processional at 10am. Trinity will join the 4 other downtown churches (St. John’s, First Congregational, First Baptist, & First United Methodist) to celebrate Palm Sunday together. We’ll meet at 10am in front of St. John’s Episcopal (14th & Pine) for a brief service and the donkey processional before each congregation proceeds back to their church for worship.

5:15pm LOFT Guys & Girls Night…LOFT Boys & Girls, come to Trinity at 5:15pm on Sunday evening. Girls, bring your overnight stuff and chick flicks, guys your details are still being determined.

April Lunch for the Hungry…The April Lunch for the Homeless falls one week after Easter Sunday this year, on Sunday, April 11. However, we’d still like to make this a special meal for our guests! We plan to serve a sit down dinner and we need your help. They are looking for donations of food: ham, potatoes, vegetables, desserts, and, of course, easter eggs! If you're cooking for Easter Sunday, we hope that you will cook just a little more and deliver it to church on Sunday morning, April 11th – or if delivered prior, please label what it is and place in the refrigerator downstairs (label your dish too). They also need volunteers (more than usual) to help prepare the plates and serve our guests. We are typically done by 2:00 or 2:30. There are sign up sheets on the bulletin board in the Narthex for your donations of both food and time. Janice Schoeneck Memorial Service Update…The Memorial Service for Janice Schoeneck has been changed to Thursday, April 8th at 7pm at Trinity in the Chapel. Please plan to join us then as we celebrate her life then.
Health Kits for Lutheran World Relief… April 4th, Easter, is the deadline to bring in items for the Health Kits for LWR. Items can be dropped off individually or as complete kits. Look for the blue tub in the narthex and drop off your items there. Items needed are: 1 hand towel, dark color;
1 washcloth, dark color; 1 bath-size bar of soap (4-5 oz.) in wrapping; 1 adult-sized toothbrush in its original wrapping; 1 sturdy comb, (remove packaging); 1 metal nail file (NO cardboard emery boards), or nail clippers with file attachment; 6 Band-aids® (or similar brand), ½”- ¾”; (secure together with a rubber band). Valerie Hess’ Holy Land Tour…Trinity’s own Valerie Hess will be leading a tour to Jordan and Israel in February 2011. Brochures about the tour are on the organ console in the sanctuary or in the church office. Questions, please speak to Valerie.
