5:45pm Confirmation Dinner Pizza Party…6th-8th graders meet at Trinity by 5:45pm, to go to Old Chicago’s on Pearl Street Mall
7:00pm Confirmation Rehearsal…8th graders and their parents, after the pizza party, we’ll meet in the sanctuary to run through the events of Confirmation morning.

THIS Saturday, May 22nd
10am Edith Sayer’s Memorial Service at First Lutheran Church, Longmont… THIS Saturday, May 22nd at 10am at First Lutheran in Longmont (803 3rd Ave) will be Edith Sayer’s Memorial Service. Pastor Gene will be representing Trinity by participating in the service.

THIS Sunday, May 23rd is Pentecost Sunday. Our worship lessons will be Acts 1:1-11; Psalm 104; Acts 2:1–21; John 14:8–27. Be sure to join us!

Wear Read…THIS Sunday is Pentecost Sunday, so everyone is invited to wear red to celebrate the Holy Spirit’s presence among us.

9:00am Thrivent Coffee Hour…THIS Sunday, members of the Flatirons Chapter for Thrivent Financial, the Lutheran fraternal organization, will be providing our Coffee Hour on Sunday. Look for them in the narthex.

9:15am Special Congregational Meeting…The Church Council is calling a Special Congregational Meeting for Sunday, May 23, 9:15 a.m. for the purpose of considering the expenditure and funding of safety related property repairs and improvements to be done this summer. The repairs and improvements include new boilers, lighting for the sanctuary, ice melting and parking lot repaving. As these costs are not included in the approved budget, a vote by the congregation is required to undertake these projects. Plan to join us! Immediately following the Congregational Meeting, there will be a Casas Informational Meeting for anyone wanting further information on the upcoming mission trip.

Upcoming Events
Summer 8:00 a.m. Worship Services in the Chapel…..beginning Sunday, May 30th, through Labor Day weekend (or until we outgrow the space), the 8:00 am worship services will be held in the Chapel.

Sunday, May 30th-Confirmation Sunday…Plan to join us on Sunday, May 30th as 4 of our young people affirm the faith of their baptisms. They will read their faith statements to the congregation in the Chapel at 9:30am and then the rite of confirmation will take place during the 10:30am worship service. Plan to join us!

Sunday, June 13th-Church Picnic…Trinity’s 10:30am worship service on Sunday, June 13th will be at North Boulder Park. We’ll worship together and then have a potluck lunch. Everyone is asked to bring a dish to share and their own tableware. Items to grill and drinks will be provided. Plan to bring a lawn chair, too. See you there!

Sunday, June 13th-Second Sunday Lunch for Hungry…If you are not going to attend the Church Picnic, please consider coming to Trinity at 11:30am on Sunday, June 13th to help us serve our Second Sunday Lunch to the Hungry. It’s the same day as the Church Picnic, so we will be especially in need of helpers. If you can help, please sign up on the sign up sheet in the narthex. Thanks!
