You can join them even if you have not done so before, and folks are welcome to drop in or out of the class as the topics are of interest to them.

THIS Friday, January 14th
4:00pm Middle School Youth Gathering…THIS Friday, 15 middle schoolers and 4 adult leaders will be meet at Trinity to head to Colorado Springs for the Junior High Youth Gathering of the Rocky Mountain Synod. Please keep these young people, their adult leaders, and the entire youth gathering in your prayers this week. Trinity’s crew will return on Sunday about 1:30pm.
6:00pm Church Council Retreat…Trinity’s Church Council will be in retreat for planning this weekend. Please also keep them in your prayers, too, that the Holy Spirit may guide and lead their time together.

8:30am Church Council Retreat… meeting at Mock Realty
9:00am Piecemakers…Piecemakers meet the third Saturday of each month to sew quilts for different ministries including Casas, confirmation quilts and Lutheran World Relief. They also make weighted therapy blankets for the Boulder Pediatric Rehabilitation Center. It is not necessary to know how to sew to help with this important ministry. Join us in the Fellowship Hall this Saturday at 9:00 a.m!

THIS Sunday, January 16th is the Second Sunday After the Epiphany. Our worship lessons will be Isaiah 49:1-7; Psalm 40:1-11; 1 Corinthians 1:1-9 and John 1:29-42.

9:30am Adult Education: Prelude & Prep for Discernment Process…How do we prepare ourselves as a congregation to enter our 10 session discernment process to determine whether we as a congregation will "recognize and support lifelong, monogamous, same gender relationships and hold them publicly accountable?” Two ways. 1) to have a conversation and discussion on what it means to be the Body of Christ called "Trinity Lutheran Church," and 2) to have a discussion and conversation on how we hold this process and our faith community in prayer. This Sunday’s topic is, “Who Are We to hold the Discernment Process in Prayer?”
1:00pm ENNNR Gathering at Lamprechts in Nederland…The ENNNRs are meeting THIS Sunday at 1pm at the Lamprecht house in Nederland to go snowshoeing at Caribou Ranch.
