Sunday Notes
Souper Bowl of Caring…THIS Sunday, Trinity’s high school youth will again be collecting food and non-food items for Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA) after the 8 am and 10:30 am services. Please bring the following items on Sunday: breakfast cereal, canned tuna, peanut butter, canned whole kernel corn and canned chili, or cash donations and place them in the designated collection containers in the narthex. Monetary donations and grocery gift cards are always appreciated too (please put them in the Souper Bowl of Caring collection box, also in the narthex).

9:15am & 11:45am Discernment Process: Church History 2… Trinity voted in October 2009 to enter a discernment process to determine whether we as a congregation will "recognize, support, and hold publicly accountable couples who wish to have lifelong, monogamous, same-gender relationships." That discernment process began on Sunday, January 23rd.
This week’s topic is Church History 2: How has the Church dealt with other major issues ie. slavery, divorce, women's ordination, infant baptism, etc. in its history [9:15 & 11:45am]. As are all Discernment Process events, this event will be recorded at 9:15am for those who can’t join us at 9:15am. The Church Council, however, encourages everyone to take part in this discernment process so that when we get to the point of making a decision, we have walked together through the various issues and information. So please plan to join us at 9:15am or 11:45am in the Chapel!
12:00pm Triniator Event…All 3rd-5th graders, plan to stay after the 10:30am worship service for an event together! We’ll eat lunch (provided) and make cookies to be used for the Second Sunday Lunch for the Hungry next week. Parent pick-up will be 1:30pm. Questions, contact Dana Englebrecht.

Notes
Cookies for College Students…The middle school youth are asking everyone in the congregation to be a part of the college care package service project again this year. We would like to send homemade cookies to our Trinity members in college or in the service. Please bring your cookies in by Sunday, February 20th as the middle school youth will be assembling the care packages at the 30 hour famine. We ask that you put your cookies in baggies or containers you don't mind donating so they can be easily added to our box of goodies for the students. Q’s, contact Becca.

Addresses for College Students…As per our tradition, the middle school youth will assemble college care packages for our Trinity members in college or in the service to remind them that they are still very much a part of our community. If you would like your son/daughter to receive a care package, please send his/her name and address to Becca at
trinityboulderyouth@hotmail.com by Sunday, February 20th. Q’s, contact Becca.
