Sunday Notes
Cookies & Addresses for College Students due…The middle school youth are asking everyone in the congregation to be a part of the college care package service project again this year. We would like to send homemade cookies to our Trinity members in college or in the service. Please bring your cookies in by THIS Sunday, February 20th as the middle school youth will be assembling the care packages at the 30 hour famine. We ask that you put your cookies in baggies or containers you don't mind donating so they can be easily added to our box of goodies for the students. If you would like your son/daughter to receive a care package, please send his/her name and address to Becca at
trinityboulderyouth@hotmail.com by THIS Sunday, February 20th. Q’s, contact Becca.

9:15am and 11:45am Discernment Process: Midpoint Check-in....Trinity voted in October 2009 to enter a discernment process to determine whether we as a congregation will "recognize, support, and hold publicly accountable couples who wish to have lifelong, monogamous, same-gender relationships". That discernment process began on Sunday, January 23rd. This week is a Midpoint Check-in to ask questions about material presented up to this point. As are all Discernment Process events, these sessions will be recorded for those who can't join us. The Church Council, however, encourages everyone to take part in this process so that when we get to the point of making a decision, we have walked through the various issues and information together. So please plan to join us at 9:15am or 11:45 am in the Chapel! Childcare will be available for both sessions.

Monday, February 21st
12:00pm Prayers for Peace in Chapel
7:00pm Lifelight Bible Study

Upcoming Event
NEXT Sunday, February 27th: Storytime Potluck at 12noon…Join us after the end of the 10:30 worship service in the fellowship hall on NEXT Sunday, February 27th to hear Hugh McGinty share his life story, including what it was like to be a tailgunner during WWII and participate in the Berlin Air Lift. Plan to bring a dish to share for this potluck lunch and join us!

Notes
The Confirmation Youth will once again take part in the 30 Hour Planned Famine on February 25th and 26th. The purpose of the Planned Famine includes: raising funds to help fight hunger, learning about the causes and effects of hunger, experiencing hunger first hand, paticipating in a service project, worship, fellowship and fun. This year's theme is "LOVE Hungry" and is based on Jesus' words in Matthew 25, "I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink."
The youth are collecting pledges to help raise money for ELCA Good Gifts for God’s Global Barnyard, a gift-giving arm of the ELCA that gives chickens, cows, goats, wells, water pumps, etc to those in need around the world. Look for the youth to be wearing bright red nametags and consider supporting their effort to “Love Hungry.”
