Each week on Wednesday evenings during Lent, we will look at a different person of faith. Tonight will be an Israelite woman, and our liturgy will be the Holden Evening Prayer. Please join us! Childcare is provided in the nursery. 7:45pm Adult Choir Rehearsal TOMORROW, Thursday, April 7th 7:00am Men’s Breakfast Bible Study…Randall Rutsch is cooking 9:15am Faith ‘n Issues Group at Page Two in Gunbarrel 6:00pm Trinity Men’s Softball Game-Stazio Field #4 THIS Friday, April 8th 4:00pm Triniator Lock-in…All 3rd-5th graders, we will meet THIS Friday at the North Boulder Rec Center (on N. Broadway) at 4pm to go swimming, then come to the church for dinner and a lock-in together. Remember to bring your pajamas and overnight stuff (sleeping bag, pillow, toothbrush, etc.) and $5 to pay for the swimming and dinner. Parent pick up will be 9am on Saturday. THIS Saturday, April 9th 8:30am 8th Grade Worship Rehearsal…8th grade confirmation youth, plan to be at Trinity at 8:30am on THIS Saturday for practicing for worship with Pastor Mark. 9:00am-3pm Trinity Youth Community Fund Site Visits…8th-12th graders, we will be hearing something from or visiting each of the 5 organizations that were chosen as finalists for the Trinity Youth Community Fund. Meet at church at 9am (if you are not already at worship rehearsal), lunch will be provided, and we finish at 3pm after deciding who to grant money to this year. 8th graders, plan to join us after you get done with worship rehearsal with Pastor Mark. Please keep these young people in your prayers as they prepare this week: MacKenzie Murphy; Ben Gasta; Isaac Daumler; Levi Hamernik; Eli Colucci; Conner Dawson. 9:15am Discernment Process: Feedback & Implications....Trinity voted in October 2009 to enter a discernment process to determine whether we as a congregation will "recognize, support, and hold publicly accountable couples who wish to have lifelong, monogamous, same-gender relationships". That discernment process began on Sunday, January 23rd. This week is Feedback & Implications, and will be at both 9:15am & 11:45am in the Chapel. The Church Council encourages everyone to take part in this process so that when we get to the point of making a decision, we have walked through the various issues and information together. So please plan to join us at 9:15am or 11:45am in the Chapel! Childcare will be available during both sessions. 9:15am Sunday School Opening ……THIS Sunday, Sunday School Opening will be in the sanctuary due to the Second Sunday Lunch Meal. 12:00pm Second Sunday Easter Meal…Thank you to all of you who have signed up to provide food or help serve our Second Sunday Easter Meal for the Hungry this week. Please make sure your food is at Trinity by THIS Sunday morning, April 10th. Place it in the downstairs kitchen. Also, if you can help us serve our guests, your help would be appreciated. Meet downstairs at the end of the 10:30 worship service and you’ll be finished around 2 or 2:30pm. Questions or you want to volunteer to bring a dish, contact Roy or Debi Burger at debgarrity@aol.com . 2:30pm ENNNR Gathering…ENNNR’s, we are meeting at 2:30pm at NCAR for a nice walk/hike on Sunday afternoon. Then, at 4:30-5pm, we’ll be heading to the Deutschmann house for a BBQ dinner. If you can’t join us for the walk/hike, come to the Deutschmann house around 4:30 or 5pm, bringing a dish to share and a beverage of your choice. Deutschmanns will provide something to grill. A freewill donation will be collected at the concert. Also, we’ll be having a potluck dinner in the fellowship hall at 5pm for the students and Trinity folks before the concert begins at 7pm. Please plan to come to the potluck and bring a dish to share!!! So, mark your calendars now to come on Monday, April 18th for the fun! Questions about this, speak to Mark Feigal. Notes Easter Lily Orders…Continuing this Sunday, we will be taking orders for Easter Lilies to be used to decorate the church on Easter Sunday, April 24th. Order forms are on the back of the blue worship cards deadline to order is Sunday, April 17th. Cost is $9.00 per lily. Casas Registration for July 9-12th…We are now taking registrations for our summer Casas Mission Trip, July 9th-12th. We have two houses reserved for our July Casas trip. We will meet in El Paso the evening of Saturday, July 9; cross the border early on Sunday; build Sunday and Monday; bless the families and their new houses Monday afternoon; host a dinner for the families and neighbors of Tierre de Amor Monday evening; and return to the USA Tuesday morning and leave for home. Yellow registration forms are available in the narthex on the heater. Church Campout, August 5-7th…Join other Trinity campers for a weekend of fun and fellowship in God’s beautiful outdoors in Leadville, Colorado. We have initially reserved 19 sites. If you would like to reserve one of those spots, please fill out a green Registration Form (in the Narthex), attach your $45.00 reservation fee to the form, and turn it in to the church office (on Melanie's desk) by Sunday, May 15th. Checks can be made payable to Trinity Lutheran, write “Campout” on the memo line.
