9:15am and 11:45am Discernment Process: Feedback & Implications....Trinity voted in October 2009 to enter a discernment process to determine whether we as a congregation will "recognize, support, and hold publicly accountable couples who wish to have lifelong, monogamous, same-gender relationships". That discernment process began on Sunday, January 23rd. This week is Feedback & Implications. As are all Discernment Process events, these sessions will be recorded for those who can't join us. The Church Council, however, encourages everyone to take part in this process so that when we get to the point of making a decision, we have walked through the various issues and information together. So please plan to join us at 9:15am or 11:45 am in the Chapel! Childcare will be available for both sessions.

Includes non-alcoholic beverage. We hope you will join us!

Notes
Tomato Plants Available: Sunday, May 8th…Support the Casas por Cristo house building project by purchasing tomato plants on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8th. The ready to set-out plants will be available in the Narthex between services for a donation of 50 cents each. This year there will be more than a dozen varieties, and you can get a list of the varieties in advance by emailing Beth Soltis at edgeary@comcast.net. Obtain these plants for yourself, as a gift for a gardening friend, or at 50 cents each, a last minute easily affordable gift for Mother’s Day from the children. The entire donation for the plants goes to Casas por Cristo mission to Mexico!

Casas Registration for July 9-12th…We are now taking registrations for our summer Casas Mission Trip, July 9th-12th. We have two houses reserved for our July Casas trip. We will meet in El Paso the evening of Saturday, July 9; cross the border early on Sunday; build Sunday and Monday; bless the families and their new houses Monday afternoon; host a dinner for the families and neighbors of Tierre de Amor Monday evening; and return to the USA Tuesday morning and leave for home. Yellow registration forms are available in the narthex on the heater.

Church Campout, August 5-7th…Join other Trinity campers for a weekend of fun and fellowship in God’s beautiful outdoors in Leadville, Colorado. We have initially reserved 19 sites. If you would like to reserve one of those spots, please fill out a green Registration Form (in the Narthex), attach your $45.00 reservation fee to the form, and turn it in to the church office (on Melanie's desk) by Sunday, May 15th.
